Marguerite Schumm is a graphic designer who thrives at the intersection of 2D and 3D. Through the use of design, Marguerite enjoys orienting people and connecting them to their environment; whether it be brick and mortar, natural or digital.
Marguerite Schumm’s professional training began at Syracuse University where she studied Industrial & Interaction Design. Always interested in expanding her horizons, she is now pursuing a Studio Certificate in Communication Design at the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA).
Having worked in the graphics departments at two exhibit design companies, she is well-versed in the world of environmental graphic design. Her experience ranges from designing and producing interpretive panels and interactive museum exhibits for government agency clients, to producing large format retail and trade show graphics for Fortune 500 clients.
Marguerite Schumm currently works as a Brand Designer at Pinnacle Exhibits in Portland, Oregon, managing the agency’s marketing department and all 2D expressions of the Pinnacle brand.
Her free time is devoted to freelance design, entering historical diorama competitions, and backcountry and international travel—where she seeks to orient and connect herself in new environments.
