Roseroot Textiles
In close collaboration with founder and artist Mollie Levy-Roseroot, I helped shape the brand identity of Roseroot Textiles, a women-owned company bringing sustainable, art-driven textiles to the market. Rooted in Mollie’s passion for Bauhaus aesthetics and environmental responsibility, the visual identity needed to reflect both artistic integrity and forward-thinking values.
Mollie shared a series of cut-paper illustrations she had created as initial inspiration. I digitized these by hand and began experimenting with typographic pairings, ultimately developing the Roseroot logo as a clean, expressive mark that echoed the brand’s tactile and organic roots.
From there, I designed a suite of print collateral to support the brand’s launch, including business cards that featured one of her custom patterns, fabric sample tags, and a visual style guide to hand off to her web developer. I carefully selected typefaces and color treatments to support Roseroot’s balance of artistry and modern utility, ensuring consistency and clarity across platforms.
The final brand reflects the company’s mission: refined, intentional, and environmentally conscious—built to grow without compromising its creative core.
